Panasonic Toughbook


Task: Display the new Panasonic Toughbook’s ruggedness and durability through exaggerated imagery.


Final Product: C17 Media’s Creative Team took Panasonic’s ideas to the next level.  The client desired images to capture the ‘built for anything’ attitude they are promoting for the Toughbook.  C17 built on that idea by curating a series of dramatisations, including the Toughbook in what most would expect to be ‘worst case scenarios’ for their ordinary laptop.  The Toughbook gets through it all, ‘it is durable enough to work where you do’.

The Creative Team narrowed down the best locations for their various shots to ensure the best staging and diversity between images.  Their lighting setup helped largely with the desired effect when shooting these images. Lastly, exaggerated visual effects were then added for further dramatisation in order to achieve Panasonic’s desired look.


These final images are being used in ads nation-wide.
